The most requested surgeries
to reshape the contour of the neck.
Double chin liposuction, also known as double chin liposuction, is the surgery designed to eliminate localized fat in the double chin thanks to its aspiration using very fine cannulas and thus rejuvenate the patient’s neck.
This technique has to be combined, on many occasions, with tension threads or cervical mini-lifting.

In order for you to be able to safely do a double chin liposuction, we must assess your general condition based on your possible drug and environmental allergies, personal and family pathological history, habitual and past medication, possible previous surgical interventions, toxic habits (tobacco), etc.
At Guadalupe González Clinic we will also take preoperative photographs, which will help us before, during and after double chin liposuction.
Surgical technique
Liposuction is performed in an operating room under local anesthesia. It usually lasts about 1 hour, depending on the technique required for each case.
Taking into account the anatomical structures to be modified, an incision is usually made in the lower part of the chin and another at the level of the mandibular angle (on each side). Local anesthesia is infiltrated with very fine cannulas and then liposuction of the double chin is performed, eliminating the fat accumulation that so disfigures the facial contour. Subsequently the minimum incisions are sutured with a silk. This surgery can be performed alone or accompanied by the placement of cervical tension threads or even a lifting if necessary.
POSTOPERATIVE
This surgery is ambulatory, staying only a few hours in the clinic. The patient will be placed with a bandage and a regimen of anti-inflammatory medication and antibiotics. To reduce inflammation and possible bruising, the patient should keep her head elevated, avoid straining, and apply local cold. After the first week, the stitches can be removed but it is advisable to keep a bandage or tape until the inflammation subsides.
